affiliate terms

What you earn, and when you are paid.

These are the terms of the ReelDouble affiliate programme. They cover what you are paid for, the hold before money becomes yours, how a referral is credited to you, and the handful of things that end the arrangement.

01

The programme

The programme is run by Reeldouble LLC, an Arizona LLC. Any ReelDouble account in good standing can join: open refer and earn in the studio, read these terms, and tick the box. You do not have to have bought anything to join, and joining costs nothing.

One account gets one referral code. The code is yours and it is not transferable, and an account that is closed, paused or under review cannot join or earn while it is. Running several accounts to collect several codes is not allowed and is treated as self-referral under clause 04.

The code gives you one link. It points at ReelDouble and pays on the account that signs up through it. (Until 2026-09b there was a second link for the course; the course is no longer sold through this programme, and nothing was ever earned on it.)

Version 2026-09b. The edition you ticked is recorded against your affiliate account at the moment you agreed, which is what clause 07 is measured against.

02

What you earn

  • An account you introduce: 20% of the platform profit that account generates, for its first 6 months.

The profit share is a share of PLATFORM PROFIT, not of revenue: what that account paid us, less what it cost us to serve it, which is principally the compute its renders consumed and the payment fees on its charges. That means a heavy month on a small plan can earn you little or nothing even though the account paid, and it means the share is never more than the account was worth to us. We will not publish our cost base, so you see the amount rather than the calculation, and it is stated in your statement in dollars against the month it was earned.

The 6-month window is 6 whole calendar months, and it starts with the month the account is created rather than the day it first pays. An account created on 15 January earns you January through June: the month somebody joins is yours in full however late in it they arrived, and the 6th month is the last one. Whole months, because the profit share is a share of a MONTH’s profit and a boundary in the middle of one could only be honoured by splitting a single charge across it. When the window ends, the account stops earning and the referral is marked ended on your dashboard. Nothing already earned is affected.

The rate above is the current one and it can change. A change applies to months that happen after it, never to commission already earned.

03

When you are paid

Commission is held for 60 days after it is earned, and it is pending for that whole period. The hold is the refund and chargeback window rather than a payment term: a card can be disputed for months, and paying out on day one for a sale that is reversed on day forty means asking for money back from somebody who has already spent it. After 60 days the commission becomes available.

Available balances are paid on the 1st of each month by PayPal, once the available balance is $50 or more. A balance under that is not lost: it rolls to the next month and every month after it until it clears the minimum. You are responsible for giving us PayPal details that work, and a payout returned or rejected because the details were wrong goes back to your balance for the next run.

We need your tax details before the first payout, in whatever form the law where you are requires of us. No tax form, no payout; the balance waits.

If a sale is refunded, charged back or otherwise reversed, the commission on it is reversed too, whatever state it is in. Reversed commission that was still pending or available simply comes off the balance. Reversed commission we have already PAID is a debt you owe us, and we will set it off against your future commission before asking you for it. If there is no future commission to set it against, it is repayable.

Payouts are in US dollars. Any fee your own PayPal account charges to receive or convert them is yours.

04

How a referral is credited to you

Your link sets a first-party cookie on the visitor's browser that lasts 60 days. If they create a ReelDouble account within that window, the account is credited to you.

Last touch wins. If somebody clicks two affiliates' links, the most recent one before they sign up is the one credited. A cookie that has expired credits nobody.

Attribution happens ONCE, at account creation, and it does not move afterwards. An account that already exists is never re-attributed, so sending your link to somebody who is already a customer earns nothing however they use it. A person who clears their cookies, signs up in a different browser, or signs up on a device that never saw the link cannot be credited to you, and we cannot reconstruct it after the fact.

You may not refer yourself. That covers your own accounts, accounts you control, accounts in your household, and buying anything through your own link, whoever the card belongs to. Commission from self-referral is reversed and repeated attempts end the arrangement under clause 07.

05

What you may not do

These end the arrangement, and commission earned through any of them is reversed.

  • Bidding on our brand name, or variations and misspellings of it, in paid search or any other ad auction, and running ads that appear to come from us.
  • Posting the links on coupon, voucher, deal or cashback sites, or anywhere the offer is a discount we did not make.
  • Unsolicited messaging of any kind: bulk email, direct messages at scale, comment spam, or posting the link where the venue does not allow it.
  • Saying anything untrue about what ReelDouble does, what it costs, or who we are, and impersonating us or our staff anywhere.
  • Income claims. Do not say or imply what somebody will earn, will make back, or is likely to make, either from the product or from this programme, and do not present your own results as what a typical person gets.
  • Paying, rewarding or otherwise incentivising people to sign up, and signing anybody up who did not choose to.
  • Buying through your own link, or arranging for somebody to buy on your behalf.
  • Registering domains, handles or app names containing our name, and running anything that could be mistaken for an official ReelDouble channel.

06

Disclosure

Wherever you post a link, say that it is an affiliate link. In the post itself, in plain words, where somebody reading the post will see it. Not in a bio, not in a comment further down the thread, and not behind a click.

This is what the US Federal Trade Commission requires of anybody with a financial interest in what they are recommending, and similar rules apply in most other places. It is also our rule: an undisclosed post is one we cannot pay commission on, and we will reverse it if we find it.

07

Ending it, and changing it

You can leave at any time by asking us to close your affiliate account. Commission already earned is still paid on the normal schedule once it clears the hold and the minimum.

We can end the arrangement at any time, and we will say why. If we end it because of clause 05 or self-referral under clause 04, unpaid commission is forfeit. If we end it for any other reason, including simply closing the programme, what you have already earned is still paid.

We can change these terms. A change is published here with a new version, and it applies to what you earn after it. Commission already earned is governed by the version that was in front of you when you ticked the box, which is recorded against your affiliate account. Where a change is material we will ask you to agree to the new version before your links go on earning.

08

Your status, and everything else

You are an independent contractor. Nothing here makes you an employee, an agent, a partner or a joint venturer of Reeldouble LLC, an Arizona LLC, and you may not speak for us, sign anything for us, or hold yourself out as part of the company. You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn here.

We decide what is a valid referral and what a month's platform profit was, and our records are what a payment is calculated from. If you think a figure is wrong, tell us within 60 days of the statement it is on and we will look at it properly.

You are responsible for what you post and for the claims you make in it, including claims about us, and for anything that follows from them.

These terms sit alongside the terms, which also apply to your ReelDouble account, and the privacy policy. Where this page says something different about the affiliate programme, this page governs. Questions, and anything about a payment, go to [email protected].
