AI video for local business: a weekly four-post locked-owner pack in app credits

A weekly 4×15-second locked-owner service pack for a plumber, a dentist, a studio — priced in app credits against the $300–$500 freelance line.

The 2026 SERP for "AI video for local business" splits across three price lines. Agency full-service runs $5,000–$40,000 per month (Sovran's 2026 benchmark). Freelancer short-form packages run $300–$500 per month for 4–8 videos (Reloop, Picmim 2026 case studies). AI small-business plans run $29–$299 per month (Visla, Seedance.tv, Digen 2026 pricing pages). What nobody in those three categories prices is a weekly four-post locked-owner service pack in one app's credits: a plumber whose face holds across every tip, a dentist whose face holds across every testimonial, a studio owner whose face holds across every class promo.

This page prices that pack on our shelf.

The brief we are costing

Four posts per week, 15 seconds each, 9:16 vertical, voiced through, one locked owner across all four. A plumber's week: Monday tip ("why your water heater is popping"), Wednesday service beat ("how we snake a drain in under five minutes"), Friday testimonial ("Mrs. Howard called us at 10 pm"), Sunday ask ("book us before the first freeze"). Same face in all four. The owner never shoots on a phone.

Four posts at 15 seconds = 60 seconds of video per week = 260 seconds a month at four weeks (we round to 4.33 for the credit math).

The credit math

Kling O3 Pro at 720p voiced bills 30 credits per second. A 15-second clip bills 450 credits. Four per week × 4.33 = 17.3 clips a month, 7,785 credits a month.

Kling caps a single generation at 15 seconds, which is exactly the shot length we are rendering — no stitch, no joiner, one render per post. The engine takes five element references; owner identity is read as @Element1 on every render.

Agency$29937,50083$3.59$14.37$299 (plus 29,715 cr headroom)

Studio at $99/mo is the plan a weekly four-post schedule fits inside with room for retries. On Studio annual the effective per-post rate drops to $2.48 and the shipped weekly spend is $9.92 — against a freelancer at $300–$500/mo for 4–8 posts, that is 70–90% cheaper on the credit-rate.

The lock-in cost, amortized

The owner's identity is read as a four-image reference set — front, 3/4, profile, full-body — built once. We detail the shape in the four-reference-image character lock piece; the short version: ~6 iterations, ~288 credits total, roughly $1.90 on Studio annual. On a weekly four-post cadence that locks for a year (52 weeks × 4 posts = 208 posts), the lock amortizes to $0.009 per post — rounding noise.

The retry budget

Our measured keep-rate on a 15s Kling O3 Pro voiced run with the four-image reference set is 10 of 12 runs holding the owner's face through the full 15 seconds — ~83%.

Expected retries on 17.3 posts a month: ~3. Each retry is 450 credits. Expected retry cost: 1,350 credits a month = $7.43 on Studio annual. That lives inside the plan's 7,215-credit headroom; the shipped post count every month, retries included, is 17 at $9.92 per week.

The silent b-roll pass

A plumber's "how we snake a drain" post is 10 seconds of silent b-roll (hands, tools, pipe) under a voiceover added in the editor. On Kling O3 Pro at 24 cr/s silent, a 10-second b-roll bills 240 credits. On Studio annual: $1.32.

A mixed week (two voiced testimonials + two silent service-beats): 2 × 450 + 2 × 240 = 1,380 credits = $7.59 Studio annual. Weekly, with retries: ~$9. Monthly: ~$39. That is a Studio plan running at a fifth of its headroom with the lock amortized to zero.

Why we do not quote the price band the SERP opens on

Visla's $16.90/mo, Seedance.tv's $29/mo, and the $29–$299/mo band most listicles land on are per-engine subscriptions, not per-second credit meters. Each one ships a specific engine (Visla for stock + AI avatars; Seedance.tv as a wrapper on Seedance 2.0). None of them locks an owner's face across 17 posts a month in one plan at the Studio annual rate.

The $300–$500/mo freelance line (Reloop 2026) ships 4–8 shot-on-phone posts a month with no AI engine behind it. For a plumber's locked-face cadence across a year that is a human bottleneck — the plumber has to show up for a shoot every month.

Our shelf's advantage is one plan, five engines, one locked owner. The plumber poses once for the reference sheet; every post for the next year reads that sheet and renders.

The three local businesses, costed

Yoga studio (class promo voiced + instructor silent)2 × 15s voiced + 2 × 10s silentKling O3 Pro1,3805,975Creator$45

The dentist and the studio each fit a Creator plan at $45 with 25 credits of monthly spare (plus 288 credits once-off for the lock). The plumber, who ships four voiced posts a week, sits on Studio.

Where this breaks

Owner has to be the face. Our shelf locks one owner. If the brief is "a different model every clip" (an ecommerce catalog), see the ecommerce catalog page — different brief, different credit math.

Face reference needs permission. The owner photographs the four-image reference set once and keeps the file. Our shelf does not render a real person without a reference the account owns.

Longer than 15 seconds per post means a stitch in the editor across two Kling shots or a Seedance 2.5 one-take at 70 cr/s 720p. A 25-second one-take Seedance 2.5 voiced bills 1,750 credits — $9.63 on Studio annual, $11.55 on Creator. The weekly rhythm for a plumber at 25s per post is 4 × 1,750 = 7,000 credits per week = ~30,290 credits/mo, which outgrows Studio and sits inside Agency ($299 / 37,500 cr).

Where our shelf wins against the freelance line

No shoot day. The owner photographs the four-image set once, in a well-lit room. Every post after that is a credit-metered render.

Volume knob. A big month (two weekly posts become four) is a $20 top-up on the same plan, not a renegotiated retainer.

One stitched post equals four separate posts. Our editor stitches silent b-roll under a Kling voiced opener at no render cost; a freelancer bills per stitched post.

The owner's face does not drift. Measured 83% keep-rate on Kling O3 Pro with a four-image reference set is the one axis the $300–$500/mo freelance line cannot compete on — a different cameraperson every shoot is a different face every month.

Our 300-credit free account carries one Kling O3 Pro 10s voiced clip or two 5s voiced clips with 0 credits to spare. Render one clip against your owner's reference set and check the identity-hold through the 15 seconds before you commit the year — the face holding across 17 posts a month is the thing to watch.

The $300–$500/mo freelance line, the $29/mo AI subscription band, and the $5,000/mo agency floor are the three columns ten competing articles use to answer "AI video for local business". The fourth column — $9.92 per week shipped for a locked-owner four-post cadence on Studio annual — is the one no listicle publishes, because it only exists on a shelf that bills a credit meter against five engines with one locked reference set that an owner photographs once.
