Fliki alternative for faceless story videos with the same character in every episode

Fliki builds videos from a script, a voice and stock or AI-image clips. For a channel where one character acts in every episode, we price a 60-second episode shot by shot.

Who this page is for

Fliki is a text-to-video tool built around the voice. You paste a script or a blog post, pick a voice, and it lays clips under the narration with captions on top. For a faceless channel that explains things, such as facts, news recaps or a list of tips, that is a fast way to publish.

This page is for a different channel: one where a character is the show. A fox who runs a bakery, or a detective who comes back every Friday. That kind of channel needs the same face doing new things in every clip. We read Fliki's own faceless-channel page on 3 November 2026 and its credit page on 4 November to compare the two honestly.

What Fliki does well

Fliki's faceless page describes the flow as script, then voice, then clips "from our library or AI-made images", then captions. Its paid tier lists top AI video models (it names Veo, Kling and Seedance) and AI presenters. A Fliki Series keeps one voice, one video style and one set of colours and fonts across videos, which is real brand consistency for a narrated channel.

Its pricing is counted in minutes of voice. Fliki's credit page lists its default voices at 0.5 credits a minute, premium and cloned voices at 1 credit a minute, and exports at 0.1 credits a minute, as of 4 November 2026. Third-party pages quote different dollar prices for the same plans, so we leave the dollar figures out and point you at Fliki's own pricing page.

If your video is a voice over b-roll, those numbers are hard to beat.

Where a story channel hits the wall

A Series in Fliki keeps the voice and the look. Its faceless page does not say it keeps the same character from video to video. Fliki's changelog has an entry titled "character consistency", which we have not tested, so we will not claim it does or does not work.

The deeper difference is what the clips are. A stock clip, or an AI image with motion added, can show a bakery. It cannot show your fox picking up a tray, turning to the camera and saying a line in his own voice. Story channels live on that shot, and it has to be generated with the character in it.

That is the job ReelDouble is built for. You make a character once, tag it into a prompt, and every render on every engine gets the same references.

What a 60-second episode costs on ReelDouble

Here is one acted episode, priced from our own rate file. The character is already made. Making one from a drawing is a 30-credit reference sheet, and cloning your own voice onto the character is 50 credits once. A voice from our bank is free.

Kling O3 Pro is the cheapest voiced second on our shelf at 30 credits, and 24 when silent. It renders up to 30 seconds by joining two 15-second shots in our own process with the same characters in both. If a scene needs more than five reference slots or a 1080p finish, Seedance 2.0 runs 45 a second at 720p and 70 at 1080p, with nine reference images.

Captions add 8 credits for each started minute of audio, and are included on the larger plans. Our cost per second page has every engine in one table.

Part 2 is where the gap shows

A story channel is a series, and Part 2 is where tools that do not hold a character fall apart. In ReelDouble, the writer's next-part action reads the episode you just made and drafts the next one. It is 5 credits. The cast does not need rebuilding, because the characters are saved and the same tags work on any engine. Our Part 2 guide walks through it with a real series.

When Fliki is the better choice

Narration-first channels. Facts, history, finance explainers, motivational voice-overs. If nobody on screen speaks and no face has to return, minutes of voice are the right unit and Fliki prices in them.

Turning articles into videos in bulk. Fliki starts from text and fills the screen from a library, which is quick when the footage is background. We have a blog post to AI video page, but our pipeline spends credits on generated footage, which is more than a stock-footage video needs.

Many languages from one script. Fliki's voice library is the centre of the product. If one narrated video has to go out in many languages, start there.

When ReelDouble is the better choice

The character is the show. If viewers come back for one face, that face has to be generated in every shot, with the same references. That is what we built the studio around.

Your character talks on camera. A voiced render with lip movement is one render on Kling O3 Pro or Veo 3.1 Fast, with no separate lip-sync step.

You need episodes, not one-offs. Part 2 inherits the cast from Part 1, and a series bible keeps the rules in one place. See our series bible template.

How to move a series over

  1. Take your best existing episode and list every recurring character.
  2. Make each one in the studio from a drawing, a photo or a description.
  3. Rewrite the next episode as shots, with one action per shot.
  4. Render the shot where the character talks first. If that holds, the rest of the episode will.
  5. Keep the narration voice you already use if your audience knows it. Silent renders on Kling O3 Pro and Veo 3.1 Fast cost less per second when a voice-over carries the shot.

You can start a series in the studio with the free trial credits and price every shot before you render it.

FAQ

What is the best Fliki alternative for faceless story videos?

If the channel needs the same character acting in every episode, use a tool that generates every shot with saved character references. ReelDouble does that across five engines, with Part 2 inheriting the cast from Part 1. For narrated videos over stock clips, Fliki remains a strong option.

Does Fliki keep the same character across videos?

Fliki's faceless-channel page says a Series keeps one voice, one video style and one set of colours and fonts. It does not promise the same character. Its changelog lists a character consistency entry that ReelDouble has not tested.

How much does a 60-second AI story episode cost on ReelDouble?

About 1,724 credits on Kling O3 Pro: 16 seconds silent at 24 a second, 44 seconds voiced at 30 a second, plus a 20-credit export. Making the character is a one-time 30-credit sheet if it starts from a drawing.

Can Fliki make a character talk on camera?

Fliki lists AI presenters on its paid tier. For a story character speaking inside a scene, ReelDouble renders voiced clips on Kling O3 Pro, Veo 3.1 Fast and the Seedance engines with the character's references attached.

How does Fliki charge for videos?

By minutes of voice and export. As of 4 November 2026, Fliki's credit page lists 0.5 credits a minute for default voices, 1 credit a minute for premium and cloned voices, and 0.1 credits a minute for exports.
