Kling O3 Pro credits per clip: every length, silent and voiced, in one table

What one Kling O3 Pro clip costs in credits from 4 to 30 seconds, silent or voiced, why anything over 15 seconds is two shots, and how we budget the retake.

Why Kling prices online never match

Search for what a Kling O3 Pro clip costs and you get three kinds of answer that cannot be lined up. Kling's own app sells subscription credits, and most pricing guides quote its Kling 3.0 rates (one cites 6 to 12 credits a second depending on resolution and audio). API resellers quote dollars per second for O3 Pro itself, roughly $0.22 a second silent and $0.28 voiced on one host, while another lists the Omni model from about $0.08 to $0.13 a second (all as of 2026-10-30). Guides also disagree on whether O3 and 3.0 bill the same at all.

None of that tells you what the clip in front of you will cost on the meter you actually pay into. A credit on one site and a credit on another are different coupons at different prices. So this page does the narrow thing: it writes out what Kling O3 Pro costs on our shelf, for every length we sell, from the same rate file the studio quotes from.

The rate

Kling O3 Pro on ReelDouble renders at 720p and bills per second:

audiocredits per second
voiced30
silent24

Three rules sit behind those two numbers.

Silent is cheaper. Unlike any Seedance model, Kling prices the audio separately, so switching sound off takes 6 credits off every second, a 20% cut. If the clip will carry music or a narration track added later, render it silent. Our silent vs voiced math runs that trade shot by shot.

Characters are free. Kling O3 Pro takes up to 5 characters in one scene as elements. Attaching one or five does not move the price; the clip is billed on its length and its audio only.

Seconds round up, 4 is the floor. Every engine we use bills whole seconds, so we do too. 4.2 seconds is billed as 5, and nothing is billed under 4.

The table: one clip, every length

lengthsilentvoicedshots
4 s961201
6 s1441801
8 s1922401
10 s2403001
12 s2883601
15 s3604501
20 s4806002
25 s6007502
30 s7209002

The last column is the part no pricing page mentions. Kling caps a single generation at 15 seconds. When you ask for more, we render it as two shots with the same characters in both and join them in our own process. You pay the same per-second rate either way; the join itself costs nothing. What changes is the risk, which we come back to below.

What 300 free credits buy on Kling

A free account starts with 300 credits. On Kling O3 Pro that is:

  • one 10-second voiced clip (exactly 300), or
  • one 12-second silent clip (288), or
  • two 4-second voiced tests (240), with 60 left over.

We spend the trial on the third option. Two short voiced tests tell you whether the character holds and whether the line lands, which is the whole question at the start. A 10-second clip that misses on the first try leaves you nothing to try again with.

How Kling compares with the rest of our shelf

Kling O3 Pro is not the cheapest second we sell in every case, but it is the cheapest voiced second at any length over 8.

enginesilent / svoiced / slongest clipcharacters per scene
Kling O3 Pro (720p)243030 s (two shots)5
Veo 3.1 Fast (720p or 1080p)20308 s3
Seedance 2.0 Fast (720p)505015 s9
Seedance 2.0 (720p)454515 s9
Seedance 2.5 (720p)707030 s (one take)30

Veo 3.1 Fast matches Kling on a voiced second and beats it silent, but only serves 4, 6 or 8 seconds, and a Veo clip with character references is always billed at 8. So a 4-second Veo clip with a locked character costs 240 voiced, double Kling's 120. For any scene with a recurring face that runs under 8 seconds, Kling is the cheaper lock.

Seedance 2.5 is more than twice the price per second at 720p. We pay it when a scene has more than five characters, or when 30 seconds has to be one unbroken take. For everything else, Kling carries most of what we render. The Kling O3 Pro guide covers what it is good at beyond the price.

Budget the retake, not just the render

The number on the button is one attempt. Our working rule is to budget each shot at one and a half times its price: the render, plus half a retake.

shotone attempt (voiced)with retake allowance
4 s hook120180
10 s story beat300450
15 s scene450675
30 s scene9001,350

The 30-second row is where the two-shot join matters. Because a 30-second Kling clip is two 15-second generations, a miss in the second half still means the whole 30 seconds goes again if you render it as one 30-second request. So when we need 30 seconds on Kling, we usually set it up as two separate 15-second scenes instead. Same characters, same price for the pair (900 voiced), but if the second half drifts we retake 450 credits of it, not 900. Our guide to retrying a failed shot has the rest of that routine.

A worked budget: one 45-second episode

Here is a real shape we build: a three-scene episode, one recurring character, voiced throughout.

scenelengthvoiced credits
cold open8 s240
middle15 s450
payoff15 s450
button line7 s210
total45 s1,350

With the retake allowance, plan on about 2,000 credits for the episode. If the cold open and middle are silent under narration, those two scenes drop from 690 to 552, which takes 138 off the total. The character sheet is made once, for 30 credits, and reused on every episode after.

Read the quote before you press render

Every figure above is the figure the studio prints under the render button, computed from the same rate. Slide the length or flip the audio and the quote moves before anything is billed; a combination nothing can serve shows no price rather than a guess. When we are deciding between a 12 and a 15 for a scene, we set it up in the studio and watch the number move, because 90 credits a scene adds up over a series.

Credits you buy do not expire, so the test today and the finished episode next week come out of the same balance.

FAQ

How many credits does a 10 second Kling O3 Pro video cost?

On ReelDouble a 10-second Kling O3 Pro clip costs 300 credits voiced and 240 credits silent, at 720p. Adding characters does not change the price.

Is Kling O3 Pro cheaper without audio?

Yes. On ReelDouble Kling O3 Pro bills 24 credits a second silent and 30 voiced, so a silent clip costs 20% less. Seedance models bill the same either way.

Can Kling O3 Pro make a 30 second video?

Kling caps one generation at 15 seconds, so ReelDouble renders a 30-second Kling clip as two 15-second shots with the same characters and joins them. It costs 900 credits voiced or 720 silent.

How many Kling clips can I make with 300 free credits?

A free ReelDouble account starts with 300 credits: one 10-second voiced Kling O3 Pro clip, one 12-second silent clip, or two 4-second voiced tests with 60 credits left.

Does adding more characters cost more on Kling O3 Pro?

No. Kling O3 Pro takes up to five characters in one scene on ReelDouble, and the price depends only on length and audio. A one-character and a five-character clip cost the same.
